ABOUT MARIE
Hello. I'm Marie. I'd like to share something with you. The first time I held a deck of Tarot cards in my hands, I felt sure God might strike me dead, but I needed answers, answers I couldn't find anywhere else.
I'd been struggling with IBS that left me gripping the sheets for three long years. I'd couldn't eat, lost weight, couldn't sleep, and had to stop working. My doctors were considering exploratory surgery, even though all my tests were "normal". I was desperate for a less invasive approach and answers.
One day, on my way back from a doctor's appointment, I passed a metaphysical shop and, strangely, felt led to go in. I'd always avoided those places, thinking they might lead me down a dark rabbit hole. Funny, the opposite was true. I immediately felt at home. I wasn't sure what I expected to find, a sign maybe, a book. I had no clue. And then I saw a cabinet full of books on Tarot, which promised to reveal answers and insights. Next to the books were a selection of cards. I purchased one, the Rider-Waite deck. I waited for lightning to strike. It didn't.
Later, at home, I sat down at my kitchen table, opened the little instruction booklet, and followed the directions for providing my very first reading. I was pretty much born with the question, "Why?" right on the tip of my tongue, so that's where I began. I wanted to know "Why" to just about everything and, for the first time in years, I found answers, answers that made sense, that were helpful, and best of all, that were healing.
In the midst of that reading, I suddenly remembered considering taking digestive enzymes. The cards validated that they would be a good option for me. So I went to the store and bought some. Back home, I swallowed two enzyme capsules, prepared some tea, applesauce, and crackers. It was about all I could handle eating. I took a few bites and waited for the pain to hit. It didn't. I thought I felt a twinge, but then nothing. I took a couple of more bites—still nothing. I was afraid to get hopeful, but I took a few more bites. Still nothing. I was eating for the first time in three years without experiencing any pain at all. I started crying and was glad I was alone (I don't like to cry in front of others). But my relief couldn't stop itself from rolling down my face. I saw the watery images of the cards, shaped by my tears, lying on the table in front of me, and I knew I'd found a friend for life.
From that point on, any time I've struggled in life, such as when I started having frequent and severe herpes outbreaks (yes, I live with herpes too), I ask Tarot what's going on and why and what I can do about it. It never fails to answer. Sometimes, it still makes me cry for one reason or another. Other times, it makes me laugh. Still, Tarot doesn't have all of the answers. Sometimes, it lets me know I need to see a specialist.
Since discovering Tarot all those years ago, I've also come to realize I'm a Highly Sensitive Person, which is why, for the past 25 years or so, I've not only studied Tarot but also the human body (and the nervous system) and natural remedies in depth. Now, I share what I know with you.
More About Me
Over the past 25+ years, I’ve devoted my life to studying Tarot, herbal wellness, stress relief, and the deeper connection between emotional well-being and the body.
My training includes advanced Tarot study, certification in herbal formulation through The Herbal Academy, board certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner through AADP, life coaching certification, and decades of hands-on work supporting people through stress, major life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
Before Tarotscendence, I spent over a decade working with Highly Sensitive People, helping them better understand stress, nervous system overwhelm, and natural approaches to self-care. My professional background also includes health coaching, behavioral change education, and content writing in the natural health and metaphysical fields.
Today, I continue my studies in Tarot mastery, psychic development, herbalism, and mind-body wellness because I was born with the question "Why?" right on the tip of my tongue, and I believe the best helpers never stop learning.
My Credentials

Later, I opened The Herpes Witch, but that idea pretty much flopped, due to the stigma surrounding my brand name and the herpes virus.
