Finding Calm & Clarity Through Tarot & Tea
Certain Tarot cards are associated with conflict, anxiety, and stress-related symptoms. And when they show up in a reading, they can feel unsettling.
Take the Death card, for example. It can be unnerving to see the image of a pale, skeletal rider on a black horse galloping toward you with a raised sickle, as if to mow you down. But the Death card is simply about transformation, transcending from one stage of life to another, like a cocoon becoming a butterfly.
The message is that you're shedding something. You've outgrown it, or it is no longer good for you. Sometimes it relates to crossing over, but more often it points toward growth, change, and moving into a new chapter if you're willing to transcend. But change is not always comfortable, is it? There is often fear surrounding it.
There are other cards that can feel equally unnerving, such as the Devil, the Five of Coins, and the Nine of Swords.
With my guide, Tarot & Tea: Finding Calm & Clarity Through Tarot & Tea, you will explore these cards and others and discover how, instead of confirming your worst fears, they can become practical, nurturing, and affirming tools for transcending challenges in your life.
For each of the "scary" cards in Tarot, I share keywords so you can better understand what they are really about, along with the following supportive correspondences:
• A simple somatic or sense-based activity to help release tension and relax your mind or body
• A carefully selected herbal tea recipe to soothe and restore your last nerve
• A crystal correspondence to support balance, grounding, and strength
