RESOURCES
Taroscendence offers supportive guidance for moments when life feels overwhelming. If you are struggling emotionally or physically, or are in crisis, you will find free and confidential support options here, along with information for immediate help.
The Suicide Hotline
If you experience a sense of hopelessness that drowns out all hope, you may entertain thoughts of suicide. You're not alone in your thinking. Many people feel this way. However, thinking about it and planning it are very different things. If you plan on ending your life, please tell someone (a family member, friend, minister, or doctor) to get the help you need. You're a child of God (a valuable soul and loved). Have hope. I know how ridiculous it may seem at the moment, but God has a better plan for your life.
- Call or text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. Hours are available 24/7, and the cost is free.
- Or text HOME to 741741 to reach a trained crisis counselor through Crisis Text Line, a global not-for-profit organization. It's free and confidential 24/7.

HSV Support
There is love after herpes, but you must consider your safety when meeting others for the first time. Please practice dating safety tips when meeting and dating someone new, regardless of how you meet. And don't be naive. Just because you meet someone who already has herpes doesn't mean you can't contract far worse diseases (people are not always honest). Always act in your best interest by following your intuition (not your hormones).

Labs & Services for Private Testing
Whenever your doctor gives you a clean bill of health but you still feel sick and tired, you can have a few tests run to identify the underlying cause. I suggest checking your hormones, but before doing that, consider getting a hair mineral analysis test to check for vitamin and mineral imbalances. Hormones become imbalanced when nutrients are imbalanced. When vitamin and mineral deficiencies are corrected, hormones often balance themselves out, and symptoms disappear, which is why testing your vitamin and mineral levels first makes good sense.
Another aspect to consider is the role of gut microbes. Deficient or toxic overgrowths of these microbes can hinder nutrient absorption, leading to vitamin and mineral deficiencies and hormonal imbalances. Your healthcare provider should be able to assist you with all of these tests, but if you have no insurance or they refuse, you can pay out of pocket to independent labs.

Saliva, Blood & Stool Tests
Most of the labs linked below offer a variety of tests for private, pay-out-of-pocket testing. Some tests are super easy (saliva, blood spot, stool). You pay for a kit to be sent to your address, and return your sample to the lab by mail using the prepaid label enclosed in your kit. Within a few days or a couple of weeks, they notify you of your results and typically provide a phone number to call to discuss with a representative. You'll visit a lab near you to have blood drawn for blood-related tests. They'll let you know where to go and follow up on your results. Other online labs are also available, so research for the best pricing.
